Eastern Market

On Saturday my friend, Julia, invited me and a couple other friends to go to Detroit's Eastern Market. The Eastern Market is a huge farmer's market where you can find everything from produce to crafts to plants, and all at relatively cheap prices.

I hadn't been to Detroit yet and was very happy to have a guide — thanks, Julia!

Here are some pictures of the market.

A funny vendor selling salsa.

Fiddleheads, I've never seen these in person before.

Parrot Plant

There were a ton of vegetable and fruit plants. I'll have to remember that for next year's garden.

And speaking of gardens, stay tuned for a second post today about the bunnies.
