Tidbits

I have some random pictures today, so thought I'd just mush them all together into one post. Also, I've posted three new insects on the Fauna page, they are marked "NEW!" so they shouldn't be hard to miss.

The Times They Are A'changing
Today has been hot and humid again, but on our walk to the lake the other day, it was clear that Fall is on it's way.

 

Canadian Geese have begun their migration, we hear them honking as they fly by. Some of them took a rest in the lake.

Hungry Eyes
Some of you were wondering about our dinner the other night: grilled Tilapia with peach salsa, cheesy potatoes, green salad.

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things
The traditional gift for a second anniversary is something made from cotton. Jake bought me a beautiful cotton purse and I made him mittens (yes, they're wool, I had to cheat a little for the sake of warmth).
