9 Months!

This past week I reached 36 weeks of pregnancy, the beginning of the 9th month. The birth is becoming imminent and the baby is becoming more real. We've been doing a lot to get ready for her arrival and growing more excited to meet her every day!

At our last checkup the baby was measuring a bit small (she has been for a few checkups already), so my midwife wanted me to have an ultrasound just to make sure everything is ok. It is, this petite mama is just going to have a petite baby, but the ultrasound was very neat because we got to see her face! It makes her even more real.

Nesting is in full effect, and while that means a lot of cleaning and organizing, for me it also means art. I've already written about some of the knitted items I made for the baby, here is the latest one - tiny booties.

And I've been making some special collages to hang above her bed and changing table. Here they are:

I've had a lot of fun creating these pictures and this weekend we hung them and finished arranging her bed and changing table.
