Mother's Day 2013

In celebration of Spring and my first Mother's Day, we took a trip to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor.

The gardens outside were not yet in full bloom, though, we did see a lot of beautiful daffodils and some flowering trees.

We toured inside the conservatory and saw a lot of nice, tropical plants.

There was also a cactus garden - Jake's favorite!

And a succulent kaleidoscope!

We saw a number of animals:

And generally had a lovely day in the sun!
